WHY SHOULD'NT I BLOSSOM?

Updated: Jul 16

I woke up this morning to a song by Pastor Chingtok Ishaku from the book of Numbers 17:8 being played on my YouTube channel.

Here's what the passage says:

“The next day Moses entered the tent and saw that Aaron’s staff, which represented the tribe of Levi, had not only sprouted but had budded, blossomed and produced almonds."

As I awoke and read this scripture, my heart got filled with hope, life and energy to fight from a point of victory again.

Hey, if Aaron’s staff, a dry and lifeless stick, could sprout and blossom in the presence of the FATHER, how much more I?

Yes! You read that well.

I who is created in His IMAGE and LIKENESS, designed to express His glory here on earth because God has given me the earth to inhabit.

Psalm 115:16:

"The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to mankind."

How will I not BLOSSOM in His presence?

Don’t forget, He came to earth to save me, He gave up His life just for me, and I have come to accept His love.

Why then should I not BLOSSOM?

Look at those pictures and read up the scripture in Psalm 139:14: "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."

As I look at the other picture, I am reminded of Isaiah 53:5:

"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed."

So, I ask again, "Why should I not BLOSSOM?"

As I look at myself in that picture, I remember that I've got something far more precious than gold, despite all my imperfections– The HOLY SPIRIT. My God!

Romans 8:1:

"And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you."

I bring my strong reasons before the court of heaven as seen in Isaiah 41:2: "Present your case," says the LORD. "Bring forth your strong reasons," says the King of Jacob."

And I ask for the last time, Why should I not BLOSSOM?

I charge you today, to bring your strong reasons to the court room of God and Judge Him Faithful.

If an empty grave is there to prove that my Jesus lives, then His stripes are there to prove that cancer has been beaten, stripped and disgraced.

As I start the day, here is my open confession in this battlefield:

I WIN!

WE WIN!!

TO YOUR GLORY LORD!!!

This is so inspiring.Thank you for reminding us about Aarons staff.Wow ,it did not only sprout but budded, blossomed and produced almonds. Reminds me of Job 14:9 The word of God is the living water that makes every dead thing sprout up again and even become fruitful for more seeds to be birthed.Thank you.

That’s what the Scripture means when it says: “I have made you the father of many nations.” He is our example and father, for in God’s presence he believed that God can raise the dead and call into being things that don’t even exist yet. Against all odds, when it looked hopeless, Abraham believed the promise and expected God to fulfill it. He took God at his word, and as a result he became the father of many nations. God’s declaration over him came to pass: “Your descendants will be so many that they will be impossible to count!” In spite of being nearly one hundred years old when the promise of having a son was made, his faith was…
